The CREDO Conference Curriculum

The CREDO curriculum is designed to trigger personal discovery through guided reflection, introspection, and dialogue.

It addresses individually and in community the questions of "Who am I?" and "Who is God calling me to be?"

It is organized around four components of each person's personal and professional life, each explored as an integral part of the whole.

Through a discernment and visioning process, each participant builds a CREDO Plan — a personal covenant based on work done in the four component areas and a formal expression of the CREDO experience. Its purpose is to provide a personal baseline and strategy for effective implementation.

Selection Process

Clergy selected to participate in CREDO are chosen randomly within age categories from the Board of Pension's database. Invitations are issued annually each spring, and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes tend to fill quickly, so you are encouraged to reply promptly if you wish to attend.

Cost for Participation

The cost for participation in an 8-day CREDO conference is $500. The bulk of the conference costs, including room, board, and travel fees, is absorbed by CREDO.
